Welcome to Cichlid Shire! By purchasing cichlid fish from our website you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Fish Health Guarantee: We guarantee that all of our fish are healthy and free from disease at the time of purchase. If any fish you receive from us show signs of illness or disease within 48 hours of delivery, please contact us immediately so that we can assist you.

  2. Alive Guarantee: We take great care to ensure that our fish arrive at your door alive and healthy. In the unlikely event that any fish you receive from us arrive dead or perish within 24 hours of delivery, we will replace them at no cost to you. To qualify for this guarantee, you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery and provide clear photos of the dead fish in the original unopened bag.

  3. Shipping: We offer shipping to most locations within the continental United States. Shipping fees are based on the weight and size of your order, and we only ship on Mondays and Tuesdays to ensure that your fish arrive quickly and safely. Orders placed before 10:00 AM EST on Monday will be shipped the same week. We do not ship internationally or to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, or other US territories.

  4. Returns and Refunds: We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so that we can assist you. If we determine that a refund is appropriate, we will issue a refund for the purchase price of the fish only. We do not offer refunds on shipping charges.

  5. Fish Care: It is your responsibility to provide appropriate care for your fish. We recommend that you research the specific needs of the fish you purchase and provide them with a suitable aquarium environment. If you have any questions about fish care, please contact us for guidance.

  6. Fish Compatibility: It is important to consider the compatibility of different fish species when stocking your aquarium. We cannot be held responsible for any aggression or incompatibility issues that may arise among your fish.

  7. Changes to Terms and Conditions: We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our website or purchase of fish from us constitutes acceptance of any modifications to these terms and conditions.
